Been playing casting director in my mind this morning, haha, me and my imagination. This is my Christian and Ana. Henry Cavill and Kaya Scodelario. :3
I would never have read this book if I weren’t so interested in the whole kidnap, abduction, stockholm, bdsm stories lately. I hate romance novels but erotica is interesting though. haha. Thankfully, I read the story of O before this so I thought I kinda had an idea but I never thought I would actually be reading a twilight-ish book (but this book is way way way better than twilight in my opinion).
And before I go on a litany with “I hate twilight because Edward is a creepy manipulative overprotective stalker.” I can’t help but give Christian Grey a chance because despite being a stalker and a control freak with violent sexual desires, he’s a lost boy (with a very valid tragic past) that needs a kind of manic pixie dream girl to take him to a path of healing. He just needs lots of love and some vanilla stuff. haha. I like how Ana is emotionally stronger and doesn’t take a shit from him, I actually feel sorry for her for going through all his fifty shades of fucked up emotional baggage but I can’t blame her for being completely smitten with him.  I managed to read the first book and half of the 2nd and skimmed through the rest as everything just went downhill cheesy.
